Fuel surcharge: The above package rates are based on Hurtigruten’s current projections for the cost of fuel. Hurtigruten reserves the right to add a fuel surcharge to the above prices. Passengers will be charged the cruise fuel surcharge in effect at the time names are received by Hurtigruten. If received within one month of the voyage, there will be a charge of $75 per person for name changes (excluding tour conductor names or legal name changes). Cancellation charges: All cancellations must be received in writing and receipt will be acknowledged by Hurtigruten. If you do not receive a written acknowledgement from Hurtigruten, it means your notice of cancellation was not received. The passenger must submit a claim for refund, in writing, within 20 days of the actual termination date of the voyage in question, failing which the refund claim shall be barred. Partial cancellation will result in the application of the above penalties to the persons who have cancelled and the remaining passengers being charged the applicable prices for the revised number of passengers in the cabin. Payment requirements: A deposit of 20% is required for each cabin within 7 days of Hurtigruten receiving passenger names. Passenger names received by Hurtigruten are considered sold and subject to cancellation charges outlined below, regardless if payment has been received. Final payment is due 180 days prior to the tour start date for all guests. Group passenger payments may be made by credit card (American Express, MasterCard, or VISA), check, or wire transfer. All credit card payments must be for the gross amount. In the case of credit cards, please note that Hurtigruten is a Norwegian company and payments are processed in Norway. Please check with your credit card company to find out if they charge fees on USD transactions processed outside of the USA. Not all credit card companies charge these fees.
